2025 China International Commercial Vehicle and Spare Parts (Uzbekistan) Exhibition Successfully Held

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan – The 2025 China International Commercial Vehicle and Spare Parts (Uzbekistan) Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "China Brands") officially opened with grandeur on October 22 at the Central Asia Expo Center in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, organized by the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, and supported by China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd.

The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Mr. Wang Deyang, Deputy Director-General of the Trade Development Bureau; Mr. Liu Yang, First Secretary of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan; as well as representatives from important institutions such as the Business Media Central Asian, Messe Frankfurt Gmbh, and the Uzbekistan Automotive Business Association.

In his address, Wang Deyang pointed out that Uzbekistan, situated in the core hinterland of Central Asia, is a "crossroads" of Eurasia, boasting abundant mineral resources, a solid industrial foundation, significant labor advantages, and a stable social environment. As an important participant in the Belt and Road Initiative, Uzbekistan actively integrates into international mechanisms such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, maintains steady economic growth, and has become a key force in regional cooperation within Central Asia.

Following the opening ceremony, Wang Deyang visited the China Brands area. He engaged in in-depth communication with representatives of exhibiting spare parts companies, gaining detailed understanding of their exhibition results and market expansion plans. Currently, Uzbekistan is becoming an important destination for Chinese automotive and parts companies expanding overseas, with numerous Chinese brands deepening their presence in the local market through methods such as establishing joint ventures and setting up sales and service networks.

Wang Deyang attended the new vehicle launch ceremony for BYD and held in-depth exchanges with heads of brands like Geely Auto and Zeekr regarding automotive consumption trends in Uzbekistan, charging infrastructure construction, and market development strategies, jointly exploring opportunities for Chinese brands in Uzbekistan.

Wang Deyang also held separate meetings with relevant responsible persons from Messe Frankfurt Gmbh and the Uzbekistan Automotive Business Association. In the discussion with Messe Frankfurt Gmbh, both sides agreed with strengthening exhibition cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. In the exchange with the Uzbekistan Automotive Business Association, both parties discussed enhancing China-Uzbekistan economic and trade exchanges, particularly cooperation opportunities in the automotive and aftermarket sectors.

During his stay in Uzbekistan, Wang Deyang made a special visit to the Datang Uzbekistan Bukhara 263MW Photovoltaic Project Company. He held discussions with representatives from central enterprises such as Datang Power and Dongfang Electric Corporation, proceeded to the Uzbekistan Representative Office of CAMCE (a subsidiary of SINOMACH) for talks and exchanges, and visited the Tashkent Olympic Center project constructed by CAMCE to gain an in-depth understanding of the cooperation achievements of Chinese enterprises. He also conducted a symposium with the Uzbekistan Chinese Enterprises Association and its member representatives to understand the development status of Chinese-funded enterprises in Uzbekistan, listen to their opinions and suggestions, and better promote international economic and trade cooperation.

This China Brands, held as a sub-exhibition within Futuroad Expo Tashkent + Komtrans Tashkent, spanned three days. It intensively showcased cutting-edge products and core technologies in the fields of new energy and traditional automotive parts, covering key areas such as batteries and the three-electric systems, chassis control, and component assemblies, comprehensively demonstrating the strength and innovation level of Chinese manufacturing. Held concurrently and co-located with Automechanika Tashkent 2025 and the Tashkent International Auto Show 2025, the three exhibitions jointly creating an unprecedented automotive industry event in the Central Asian region.

The successful hosting of the 2025 China International Commercial Vehicle and Spare Parts (Uzbekistan) Exhibition has not only built a precise platform for the Chinese automotive industry to deepen its presence in the Central Asian market but has also collectively showcased the innovative strength and industrial chain synergies of Chinese manufacturing to the regional market. Promoting trade through exhibitions and promoting production through trade, with the continuous deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese brands are destined to navigate towards an even broader future in this promising land of Central Asia.
